The other day I cooked a German Dinner for the Canadian family, from beginning til the end. I am starting with the dessert part, just because it will be a new recipe on this blog. I made a Marble Cake with Cherries which turned out fantastic. Very moist, not too sweet, the swirl of chocolate & vanilla and a cherry every now and then really makes the difference. We also had a white buttermilk bread and German carrot-stew, which I blogged already, just this cooked with bacon instead of a big chunk of pork, as we had delicious garlic-whiskey sausages with it. But let’s focus on the dessert now. We just loved it.
